Quality italian luxury knitwear
THE HISTORY
The company Carella was founded in 1979 from the willingness and enthusiasm of two young entrepreneurs, the sisters Carla and Ornella who started a small domestic knitwear workshop.
Since the beginning the two sisters decide to invest on the quality of their products focusing on research and selection of the finest fabrics, paying attention to each particular detail, resulting in the production of a very high quality level knitwear destined to dress an elegant and demanding lady.
This philosophy reveals to be winning.
 
1980: Carella launches its own ready-to-wear woman's collection, immediately characterized by a classical and elegant style, maintaining the philosophy which distinguishes the brand since its beginnings.
The Eighties see a further phase of development and consolidation of the business, particularly in the manufacturing structure and in product innovation.
In the 1984 Claudio Teso, an entrepreneur of the same area, starts collaborating with the company and together with the two founder sisters develop the business.
Afterwards he becames partner of the company.
In the following years the company works also in partnership with several griffes for which manufactures samples and productions. This brings an additional knowhow to the company.
2005: in Milan is opened a showroom where can be met costumers coming from abroad and from Italian areas not covered by sales agents.
2006-2007: Ornella Tonet and Claudio Teso get the full control of the company and they add to the Carella collection, more and more focused to the luxury knitwear, the new ToneT collection, a total look that thanks to its strong stylistic content introduces itself as one of the most successful novelty of the Made in Italy panorama.
2008: the company based in Miane starts a new step with the aim of repositioning in higher segments of the market. The company wants to be recognized as specialist in proposing a look fo r the metropolitan lady, always keeping that great creativity and quality that the markets have always appreciated in its products.
At the moment the company is selling in several markets as Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Russia, Moldovia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Mexico, Canada.
